I rent out 5 cottages in Nags Head throught VRBO. The service is great and the guests are excellent. We currently have our Loon Court Cottage listed for sale with Heather. It is in the VRBO program for the 2nd year after 20 years with a rental agency. Never grossed more than $17K with the agency. Last year we grossed $33K using VRBO, this year we have $34K+ booked with October and November to go, and we have prebooking in the works for 2013. This cottage actually cash flows now with stronger then ever rentals. No worries there are plenty of people on the ground to make it happen. The Loon Court Cottage has a cleaner in place and handy-man when those odd jobs come up.
